Yesterday, I went to Big Lots in search of something for my dad. I did not find what I was in search of, but instead found a HUGE bin of $0.50 books! I bought 5 novels for $2.68. What a steal! Here are the books I bought:

- The Wish Maker by Ali Sethi
- Alentejo Blue by Monica Ali
- Falling Leaves by Adeline Yen Mah
- The Informant! by Kurt Eichenwald
I was inspired by how much Amanda has enjoyed reading Indian literature this summer, so I chose several books by multicultural authors. I am about a third of the way into Chicago, and I must say it is fantastic. Certainly remembering why I used to love to read!
